Random numbers

This is a short and sweet story about random numbers. I can't explain, but sometimes I like some numbers better than others. I used this theory when I was waiting for my daughter to be born as well... I was thinking which date I would like her to arrive. I was due on 6th June, but somehow felt that she was going to come a tiny bit earlier. So I decided (lol) that I liked 28th May the best. And so she did : ) Can't believe she is 4 this month. : )

This time I used my number choosing theory to set a target circle number on Etsy. In February, when I decided that I was going to make my dreams happen I wrote myself a number I wanted to achieve. That day I had about 120 circles. (boy, that sounds like a lot) But I was aiming for 586. I said it, don't ask me why, lol.

And because this blog is about making my dreams (and yours if you join me) come true I can now announce that the number of my circles today is 579! Not achieved my goal yet I know, but it is very very close, so I thought I would let you all know, that things are happening here : )

I just listed 4 new items in my Etsy shop. And they are getting favorites like crazy : ) It makes me very happy.

And because I heard it's better to have a photo in your blog posts, here is one of my baby girl : )

Inspirational daughter

Do you know the feeling when your heart jumps one or two times suddenly when you are doing what you truly love? This is what I just felt. I'm been working on some new paintings recently and they give me that feeling I was always looking for. This is what I wanted to do all my life. I love it! : )

Yesterday evening when I was ready with some backgrounds and started to work on the first one I remembered my daughters words she keeps on asking these days: "Mummy, when are you going to paint ME?" And I did. She never goes anywhere without her bunny so they are both in the picture : )

There are some pretty backgrounds ready for me to continue with them tomorrow. Can't wait. I'm really excited about this new venture. : )

Update on the progress

This is a sneak peak of one of my newest mixed media paintings I'm going to list in my Etsy shop. The new paintings will be available as originals and print as well, if everything goes to plan.

My blog design is still in progress. I have painted a background (which will later be a painting, but at the moment I stopped at the background) for the blog but can't seem to figure it out how to make it acceptable for Blogger to upload as a background. Any suggestions are welcome : )

At the same time I'm soon re-launching my website after a beautiful makeover. Which means it will no longer be a jewellery store anymore. I'm not saying any more details about this just yet ; )

A beautiful new jewellery collection is coming out as well. Boy, do you think I'm busy :D

So here is where my dreams come into picture. I love what I'm doing, and working really hard on it to actually make it work. To be able to call it a real business, which makes enough money for me and my daughter to live on (and more). Some months ago I was very close to giving it all up. But when you have a dream for years and it keeps coming stronger and stronger, why would you give it up? I'm not saying it's gonna be easy. But I'm ready to work hard.

The first stage of the plans are going great actually. My Etsy shop is getting loads of views since I'm paying attention to it. My items are featured in countless of beautiful treasuries and getting favorited like never before. The reaction to my new paintings and jewellery is amazing, so really looking forward to the next months.

First of all I have to apologize for not posting for this long, I have been so ill I couldn't do much unfortunately. But now that I'm feeling ok (kind of) I have to focus on my blog a lot more! Don't think that I gave up my dreams!!! Not at all!!! 

In the last couple of days when I was already feeling abit better I painted some new ACEOs, they are available in my Etsy shop. They are inspirational little paintings, all of them has a meaning which can inspire and motivate you on your journey. 

I made some new jewellery as well, but haven't taken their photo yet. There is more to come, so keep your eyes peeled : )

Busy with website makeover

I have to apologize that my posts are not regular yet. I'm been working on my website makeover, and also been busy with my Etsy shop. I make loads of treasuries which help my shop to get loads of visitors and I'm very glad that my items get loads of favorites since then too.
The Spring/Summer 2012 Jewellery Collection is on the way too. It's looking really excited, really hoping you all will like them.
Until I finish the makeover and start to post regularly, please have a look at the treasuries I made and feel free to comment if you like them : )
