Home of angels

A very lovely thing happened to me yesterday. One of my dearest customers sent me some photos to show me where some of my art live. I have to tell you, she made my heart flutter!

Here they are on her beautiful light blue wall, which is the exact shade of blue I'd like to paint one of my rooms to, if it was mine (I will do that one day, I feel it in my heart... hopefully soon). Beautiful! : ) My angels are very happy there. They are at home!

I believe that these angels will nurture her soul, will give her comfort and will remind her every day that she is loved. And this makes me really really happy! : )

Do you want to show us too where my art lives in your home? I would love to hear from you! Email me to beata at iyobodesign dot co dot uk. : )

A little reminder: There is still some time to take part in my giveaway! You can find the details about how to participate in this blog post.

Only love matters, every day!

Celebrate love, because love is important. Without love we wouldn't have anything. No babies were born, no friends would be around, no families would grow, no beautiful and useful products were created... I don't think we would even exist. Love is very important.

And when you find the love of your life, that's something really special. We should really treasure the love we have for each other. Treasure it today, treasure it tomorrow, and every single day after that. Be grateful for all the love you have. Because love is special. I truly believe that ONLY LOVE MATTERS!

Art in progress

Are you curious how my table looks when I'm working? I guess so : )
Well, it's a mess. But this is how it works. I actually love this look : )

I have a really good plan how to make it a bit more comfortable to work on though. I'm planning to buy a bigger table soon. I'll turn this small table to the side, and this will give a lot more space for the printer and loads of things I don't use while painting, so that the new table will have loads of place just for me to work on. I always wanted a L-shaped table, and I have a feeling I'll soon have it. My only fear is... can I fit a 150x75cm flat packed table into a car?

And this is a background I'm been working on. Right now it's having a break, until the next inspiration comes about how to continue. I'm really happy with the way it looks right now, but it's still far from the end...

A cheeky little reminder: Don't forget to enter my giveaway! See details here!

My first ever video : )

Whenever I'm selling my art off-line I have that fantastic feeling, which I can't feel while my lovely customers all over the world viewing my items online. When I see their eyes lighting up and they start to smile, it can not be replaced with any other thing. And the comments are always making me blush. : ) I love all the compliments my work get, it's one of the best feelings in the world!

For online shoppers it's a lot more difficult. I believe they often decide not to buy something because they didn't have the chance to touch the item and the photos were not convincing enough. I'm struggling with the photos myself. It's really difficult to make a good photo of something that's shiny or I can't get the light right.

This is why I had the idea to make a little video about some of my items. Just to get a better picture of them. The light is not always good even in my video (for example the vintage style necklaces look quite dark, which is not like that in real life, but somehow I couldn't get that right)

Have a look and let me know what you think. (don't forget, this is my very first video, I'm happy to get constructive criticism, but be gentle : ))
